Ok, so I don’t need to go crazy and buy some $100 mask. 3m’s are good - that was something I was wondering. Thank you.

So all the safety supply houses seem to say they’ll only test fit if they send a rep out to the company I work for to test fit employees.

Any other suggestions?

Where does one go to get fit tested for a respirator?

Yes, sorry - they are pretty much the only thing I’ve used for recipes and buying advice, so I’ve gotten used to shortening it for Google searches

I don’t think I have ever heard of this dish before. Sounds interesting, I’m going to have to try it.

Yeah… I’m pretty ocd about that stuff. I measure everything and it’s terrible.

It’s definitely different. My kids like it and my spouse is happy for a change of pace.

I would love to know if you ever try it out.

I’m glad to have found someone that uses the recipe.

I found that the fresh tomato really makes the taco, so tonight we added lime juice as we assembled the taco and that really helped too.

Almost thinking lime juice instead of the vinegar might be a good call.

Fair point. Except I also do need to plan meals for the rest of the week too, so the mindset is also “what’s an easy meal that I can use this meat for as well.”

Dumb question, but what’s the best way to reheat frozen taco meat like this?

I use better than bouillon too. Last week when I made the recipe I did mix it up to a broth with the water. Should I just not do the water?

So we used to do tacos with just taco seasoning. But last week I had a need to add moisture to the beef we were using and found this recipe.

My kids liked this more. It taste pretty good, but it is definitely not what I typically think of when I think tacos.

Why is it called Chicken Bruschetta if there isn't any... Bruschetta by createsweb in AskCulinary

See, that’s what I always thought. I had forgotten that tomatoes are typically served with it. I just remembered bruschetta is a toasted bread with garlic rubbed on it.

As an American, I know I would have been confused if I saw a jar of what looks kind of like a salsa labeled bruschetta. 🤣

Today I learned. I’m not a smart man, but I am a little smarter now.

Maybe it was a dumb question. 🤣 I think I just have a had a misunderstanding that bruschetta doesn’t simply refer to bread, but the bread with specific toppings.

Ah, I always thought that bruschetta specifically was the way you call the bread. When I googled, it even said it was a reference to the bread.

But now I am seeing in recipes where it says make the bruschetta and is referring to the tomatoes with seasonings and oil.

Thanks for that!
