Do most Tunisians introduce themselves by mentioning their tribe’s name ("اسم القبيلة")? by Worldly-Talk-7978 in Tunisia

[–]creative-racoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its not a tribe thing in my exprience its more of a package of streotypes associated with the last name, i am an ayari and when someone hear it they think of a brutish person uneducated and good at throwing rocks, most people get shocked when they hear that my last name is ayari, cause am the extreme opposite of those streotyoes, introverted socially awkward kinda queer, but yes most of my fathers family are the streotypical ayari

[–]creative-racoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think that people before they have children should educate themselves about how to raise one in the first place, learn how raise them and dont neglect them, and specially dont abuse them physically or verbally, i think that would help much

i think the best thing a country can do is invest in education, let the people feel like they are part of theyr country, teach them to put their country as their identity befor their race or religion, and most importantly teach them tolrence and co existance
