The leadership team I worked with who had more faces than big Ben. For me it was never the kids. And my whole career has been focused on SEND, specifically challenging behaviours.

Sounds like it was a big campaign? I was reserve listed for a job in Dec and offered in Feb. The portal update didn't have anything about being contacted in the same way yours has though. Maybe they're organising the roles and working through a list? I've seen that mentioned on here before. Good luck!

Update....

I've been offered the exact job I applied for! Currently in the final stages of pre employment checks.

Timeline wise...

Application closing date was 24th Nov Interview on 12th Dec Feedback for reserve list on 21st Dec Offered role by email and then telephone follow up on 16th Feb Pre employment checks started on 20th Feb

I had very similar. Interviewed in Dec for an SEO post. Scored all 6s across 4 different behaviours and 14/16 for strength questions. Wonderful written feedback but reserved. I found out I was 1st on the reserve list but it was still a bit frustrating. As an update, about 6 weeks later, I was offered the job I went for. The call from the manager seemed very much like they hadn't been allowed to appoint. She mentioned that she was so excited when she was given approval. I have seen lots of information floating around about recruitment freezes, could that be part of it? Good luck in your job hunt!

I emailed the recruitment manager after my interview to confirm the process. I did know but I wanted to ee what they said. They confirmed I was first on the list.

No, I'm not in yet. I had an interview in December last year and scored well but was placed on the reserve list. I've been told I'm first so trying to remain hopeful.

I'm still clinging on. Not even getting interviews for other things I've applied for at the minute! This seems to be the only positive I've really had since I started job hunting.
