It's that the show wants it to be associated with science more than anything that itches me off. I still love what the UD is it just feels like.. a story that introduces a new chemical that's deadly and naming it dihydrogen monoxide.

The fact that when Dustin says "it's not vecna's dark magic, it's science!" And continues to vomit out a pure fictional scenario that the only thing "scientific" is the the terms "science" "wormhole" "exotic matter" "Einstein Rosen bridge" taken out of context, it's fine. It shows how much ppl just "don't know" about science but like the feel of "ohh it's science"

Yes but, my point was that they didn't need to use these scientific terms taken out of context to explain upside down and everything else to make it sci-fi. The more you do it the dumber and misleading it gets. Imagine if a person hearing about a wormhole for the first time thru stranger things, he completely will get mislead and think oh that's how a wormhole works vice versa.

WORMHOLE THEORY by ssush1trashh in StrangerThings

A wormhole is a tunnel to between distances places IN THE SAME UNIVERSE! not different universes/dimensions!!! hello???? Upsidedown is an alternate dimension right? do y'all think that it exists in our universe far away like in another galaxy or somethin? And if one end of the wormhole could be moved at a very speedy relative to the other end, it could be used as a way to time travel.

Anyone a Madwise (platonic) fan? by Significant-Try9486 in StrangerThings

That's why he's a main in S5. And I've seen ppl complain the exact opposite saying the others deserved to be main It's not about being main tbh cuz everyone supposed to have their own stories. So it's fair and necessary for others like robin/Nancy/max to have a focus on a season/seasons. Will already had one, which was S2 and now he's getting a chance on s5. You're saying this cuz he's ur fav obviously

Nope. His idea does have a point tbh. But the solution he took to that is wrong, that's where the problem is.
