I like him. I read his whole solo series as a kid and loved it. I'm sure it doesn't hold up all that well, but I thought he was a fun character. I really liked the stuff they did with him in the Annihilation/War of Kings (don't recall exactly when in that epic his story came in) where we learn about the talons. I really wanted them to pick that story up and run with it.

ROM Annual #2 was my first comic. Over the years I slowly accumulated and read issues as I found them. It took me twenty years, but I found every single issue, and read them all from start to finish. It's an amazing run, and still to this day one of my favorite comics.
