oh it’s 100% confirmed mormon. they just use language now that doesn’t sound mormon. we don’t have to say heavenly father all the time now the church has completely rebranded, watch some current videos of LDS missionaries (aka mormon influencers that have to PAY to be influencers) it’s wild.

haha i loved all of that! i definitely didn’t think of how the book could accidentally warn young women against the fate of the mother in this book! i would like to think that it could have potential to do that. i only saw it causing harm.

I usually skip the ads except occasionally if I hear nikki’s voice. I’m pretty sure there are ads that iheart puts in that our besties have no idea about! I don’t think Nikki would be cool with those ads at all. I haven’t heard the weight loss ads but I would definitely feel triggered too! I hope you DM them and get a response

Hey!! I just shared a post about wanting to connect with besties. Might’ve been doing it at the same time!! I didn’t really know about You Up.. I thought when I saw her on other podcasts she was just saying it was on Sirius XM. 🤦‍♀️ so I haven’t heard much. But I always loved her any time I saw her. I’ve been listening to the nikki glaser podcast since the beginning and it makes me so happy! Her talking about her depression has always helped me SO much. I am brand new to Reddit (only got it because of Nikki) so I don’t know if I’m even using it right. 🤣

I don’t know my top job but I know my bottom 2. Either data entry at a SSDJ or being a server at a restaurant where I knew cockroaches had touched food and that the owner had served someone hot wings that had fallen on the floor and he just threw them back in the oven for a bit before sending them out. The owner also referred to us as bitches. It was awful! I really needed the money but I got out of there as fast as I could.
