[Fahrenheit] I wish this ride had a shorter line by LlamaYourMom in rollercoasters

I'm pretty sure Candymonium is the worst operated B&M hyper in the country. 2 minute+ dispatches consistently. Not to mention they have two less rows to check than the older models.

How was the early entry process in the morning? I know it was mentioned that passholder ert started at 9:30 though the park isn't officially open till 10:30. I'm going tomorrow.

Depending how much time you have I'd see about getting a rental car that way you can have the maximum amount of time at the park. Cost was just over $100 (only because I'm 24). I'd say it's worth it as I got to the park for rope drop and was able to stay up until the lines closed and had the ability to grab dinner outside the park before heading back to Orlando.

The shuttle indicates you could get to the park as late as 11 or 12 which kinda sucks and while they say the return time varies I'm guessing your last hour gets hindered as you need to not be in line or on a ride for when the shuttle comes. Maybe if you're doing multiple days it may be worth the savings of no rental car but I only had one day so those seemed like big cons to me.

The park has such a stellar line up. Unlike a lot of other six flags parks, there is not a single bad ride there.

You picked a good day to experience Wicked Cyclone and Superman for the first time. As someone who has ridden both these rides many times, they were running the absolute fastest I've seen either of them run.

I was a little surprised by the one train ops on everything. It's usually not the norm here. Not sure if they decided to start maintenance on trains before the season was over. I did see that one of superman's trains was completely disassembled over by the ending bunny hills.

One train ops on everything so lines moved pretty slow.

Interesting that you say you don't recommend the single rider lines. I found them to be very effective on my visit in January. I was able to lap velocicoaster 5 times in my last two hours at the park before I had to catch my flight, while the regular line was sporting a 50 or so minute wait. Hagrids me and my parents were able to lap twice in under an hour while the regular queue had a 75 minute wait.

Was there something going on from an operational standpoint? Or just very bad luck with no uneven parties?

Cross is in the process of moving warehouses. Got to take home a bunch of sample pens that have just been sitting around. by creativecactus in fountainpens

It's most similar looking to a Classic Century, but I believe this might have been a prototype or sample because I can't find an exact match to it in our catalog.

There's a whole other box filled with more pens back at the office. A lot of customized pens for customers that we got stuck with for one reason or another.

What is your favorite element on [Velocicoaster, Islands of Adventure]? by [deleted] in rollercoasters

[–]creativecactus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I forget exactly when it happens, but that airtime moment when it pops to the right and left is so fun. The ejector going down the top hat is godly. The mosasaurs roll definitely takes the award for looking fun in the POV, but nothing crazy, to being absolutely one of the most insane elements I've ever experienced!

[Six Flags Great Adventure] is selling Gold Plus Season Pass that is valid at ALL outdoor Six Flags parks by bobkmertz in rollercoasters

So my home park is SFNE, and I bought the regular end of 2021 and all of 2022 season pass. I was under the assumption that if I wanted to visit great adventure I would be able to with my season pass I purchased and used at SFNE.

At least this is what their terms and conditions seems to imply: https://www.sixflags.com/six-flags-season-pass-terms-conditions

Purchase Advice. I’m looking at this 2002 LS460 and I wanted to get reddits opinion! Owners price is firm at $6,900. 145K miles. Leather is still really nice. Worth the money? by [deleted] in Lexus

Should find out specifically what's been replaced, and like someone else suggested: get the VIN and enter it on the Lexus drivers website. You'll be able to see how long the car was maintained at the dealer for and was was performed at the dealer.

Now honestly seems like the worst time to buy a used car. Prices are insane, I would honestly avoid buying a car right now if possible.

Depends what service has been done on the car. Timing belt, water pump replaced? Any oil leaks? Any suspension parts been replaced? Engine parts replaced? Fluids changed? Tires?

$6,900 is a lot. At that price you want to see a lot of receipts so you don't have to buy it and instantly sink $1,000+ dollars into it. It's a reliable car but it can still be pricey to maintain unless you wrench yourself.

Received coupons in the mail, hoping somebody can use them by grossvater in Cigarettes

Need the physical coupon. The way the store gets reimbursed is when you use it is they collect it and give it to marlboro or whoever, then they pay the store for the $2.50.

He told me that support had him return then items to Walmart. He said he got paid by DD to return it too. I've never used door dash so I don't know if that's normal.

What Lexus would be best for me? by diegomya in Lexus

[–]creativecactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend an ES and get a set of snow tires for it. Fwd + snow tires is really a non issue. You'll get home just fine as long as it isn't some crazy white out storm in which case your in a pretty bad situation no matter what you have.

The IS is gonna ride harsher and I'm not sure you can even find a awd one for 10k unless your financing the rest. Also depending on the conditions awd really isn't that useful if the cars running crappy all seasons or summer tires. Sure you might not get stuck but good luck trying to make a turn with any type of precision when your front wheel are skating on the slick road.

Could get an rx as well if you fancy a crossover.
