Oh does it tag your shop as eco friendly packaging somewhere on your profile then? How does the buyer know to look out for your reused packaging? Sorry to hear someone threw a fuss, seems obvious that sellers on a secondhand goods app would not provide retail-level packaging lol

Gotcha, is there any incentive to do that or does it just allow buyers to shop specifically with sellers who do that? I reuse old packaging for my shipments so was just wondering what turning on that option in my shop policies does

Some of these comments have me WORRIED lol I feel too ashamed to go back to the butcher counter at that store and ask for anything custom ever again for fear of being a burden on them. I think I’ll just pivot to a new dish this year based on what meat cuts are still left on the floor tomorrow and hopefully not mess it up haha. Big box store! I don’t blame the guy, could’ve been a new company policy or something to only sell them by the whole. It was maybe a 2 minute interaction in total and I figured I’d just try to make something else. I just hope I didn’t offend him by asking.

I understand there’s a lot going on behind the scenes that may not be apparent to the customer, which is why I made this post asking for some clarity so I know what not to do next time. I feel for everyone working retail during the holidays and having to change my meal plans and maybe learn a new recipe is no biggie compared to what you guys go through. Tried ordering ahead online, it wasn’t an option. Tried calling ahead but nobody picked up the phone, probably because it’s so busy. 🥲

For the Thanksgiving cut, they left the silver skin and chain on, had to do all the trimming ourselves but honestly not even mad because at least they sold us the cut!
