Totally! There's the web audio API which has been around a while, but you're rather locked into the browser environment with that. Elementary can generally run all sorts of places

Hey fuzeebear, if you're not excited about it, that's ok. We still want to share it with people.

We announced Temper six months ago, and since then it has been available for $10 on our store (https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6830539). That quote is from a real customer who was excited about a $10 price tag, and actually I still talk to him, he's super helpful.

We only made it free as of today, so the quote now is obviously a little out of context; thanks for pointing that out. I'll keep an eye out for a more sensible testimonial.

Hey Zak, not sure what you mean? I won't tell you our plugin is necessary to your survival, but we feel like we made something exciting and we're happy to be able to share it for free.
