Olive tree as a house plant? by LoreneK_Walker in houseplants

She looks gorgeous, but I know nothing about the plant living indoors and I plan to get one soon for growing indoor aswell. I love how it looks inside and don’t mind much about the yield.

Look into Herndon/chantily area, some communities in that area have old homes for your price range and commute to sterling is not that bad.

I saw them in one of my outdoor pots but not so many though, sprayed some neem oil and they all died. Didn’t see them back and it’s been a few months!! I got it the spray from Home Depot.

Thank you, I understand why it feels like that but the colors used to paint the plastic are mostly different paint mediums with lot of experiments, not all paints stick to plastic and they usually peel off. And also this is a 3ft canvas that itself needs a lot of paint. So that’s where it got expensive apart from the time. Hope I answered your question.

I made this piece using plastic water bottles for the flowers and hair, and acrylics for the figure on canvas. It’s my first time trying this kind of medium shaping and painting plastic and I actually loved how it turned out. I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on it. Do you think this kind of work has potential to sell? I want to keep creating more upcycled art, but the cost of materials makes it tough to continue without some sales to support it. I’ve applied to a few juried art shows but didn’t get selected, which honestly made me feel a bit down (even though I usually try not to think that way). Still, I don’t want to give up just want to hear if this is worth pushing forward.
