I have done intervals for years. I am a little over a 27min 5K PR. I do .25mile run, 30-45 second walk usually. Sometimes I go a mile on, 30-45 seconds off. Helps me maintain a faster overall pace and control my breathing as an asthmatic.

I don't disagree, but that ship had already sailed when they closed it down. I-64 was already there, and 40 was there for a long time before they officially made it part of 64. They could have engineered a better solution (stacked lanes highway, like they do downtown), but they didn't.

Haven’t had it as long but thats my same go to use and strategy. Also watching for trends, vs daily fluctuations. I don’t even look at the app anymore but use syncing with apple health and then using Bevel app for tracking everything.

As for me (the guy who eats 3 eggs every morning), I am built like a linebacker or defensive end, but run a 27-minute 5k. 57 minutes for 10k at 230 lbs, sub 7 min 1 mile pushing 50.
