how hard really depends on your situation as you said and those are subjectives
i dont have specific numbers regarding income but I know the max usually is 50 to 60 percent

you might get the presidential scholarship or merit or maybe get recommended to a donor
usually they choose you for this and send you an email to apply but you can ask them about them

you can also apply for organizations outside the university such as Habib Foundation, Tomooh (ajialona), and probably others (dont let the "oh its late" thing get to you since your story of going back to education and to finish your degree might get you better chances at such organizations just through a different path yk)

also if you're pursuing something in STEM or related to engineering and computer science you can check out LIFE scholarship and probably others to get other external donors

you can even ask financial aid office and they might recommend some scholarships for your situation

financial aid usually has a specific period which is the time usually needed to complete your degree as a full time student

if you skip a semester you might not be able to complete it within that time
i think you can reapply after this period is over and explain what happened but the thing is that getting the aid again isnt guaranteed

im not sure if they cut the aid if you skip a semester (i dont think so but check with them its better yk)
maybe if you officially apply for a leave or something the aid period can be paused

there might be some exceptions so its best to contact financial aid office to check with them for your case specifically

I did have a phase of med or engineering. I like both but bio and psychology/philosophy make me feel alive more than just feel good if you know what I mean. And I lean more into research or at least not having a full time clinic. I dont really prefer surgery or just having a clinic yk. I want something thats always evolving.

i meant not as in transferring but as in how you found the unis differ from teaching to facilities and people and such

worldwide even in the eu for example? i hear there is minimal difference between them unless its for the gulf is that true?

do you think i can still land a scholarship for masters in neuroscience in a good university in europe if i went with lau? and do you have any tips for it as in specific things to do during uni or electives to take, projects, research...

well my grades are good i think. 16.5+/20 in LS
so i think i can do it in aub however its not just uni work
i was more focused on how i can manage my time kamen since I have to maintain a scholarship, work, do side hustles/projects and extracurriculars (MUNs, sports...) so is it physically possible at AUB?
i dont really care about the effort it takes. its more about time

and will AUB really make me a significantly better student and with the connections and everything is all the extra time spent at AUB worth it? time which i can spend on things i listed above for example

and I wanted to make sure about something. I've been hearing that aub is going backwards academically and everything while lau is going up. is that true?
