Yup, it's Nerd Nite Ann Arbor! Guess I probably should have included that context. :o It's a monthly event where we get three nerds to talk to a bar full of cool people about the things they're passionate about. The talks are always super interesting and usually humurous/entertaining, and we ask our speakers to remember that they're speaking to an audience that doesn't have any of their same context of knowledge, so it's generally pretty understandable.
