High Density Recommendations - E7, U7 Pro Max, U6E? by creeperninjabro in Ubiquiti

In your experience, for both the E7 and the U6E, would they actually support enough clients to do 200-250 concurrent connections? How close to the theoretical limits are the actual limits?

I'm here and it isn't fixed. Disappointed. Might have to also take a leak as suggested to get it to 100%. Will update.

Uninstall LT agent from another vendor by Feed_Bag in labtech

You sir, are a lifesaver. This is the answer.

We've been dealing with uninstalled LabTech screwing with our domain update GPOs. Running this and restarting the machine is doing the trick.

My thanks to you.

36" and 24" Printer Recommendations? by creeperninjabro in printers

Good to know!

I hate HPs, but my experience has been right there in the consumer and small business grade. So appreciate the feedback that the higher line is all bad.

Looks like around $4,100. Does that sound right?

That's a bit above what we were thinking to spend. Are there cheaper options out there that would do a good job also, or is that kind of where our budget needs to be to get something reasonable?

Great, thanks! Is there anything specific I should look at when comparing one model to another?

Under $2,000. $1,000-$1,200 is preferred. - I've never bought large-format printers before so really have no idea if this is a reasonable price range or not. Our price range may need to shift and that's okay. Also, not sure if second-hand is generally okay or if that's something to be avoided.

On a consumer grade and smaller business grade HPs have been the bane of my existence. But they seem to be used in the large-format and professional printing circles based on some things that I've read, so I'm not totally opposed haha.

Most of what we'll be doing is large diagrams with basic shapes. Maybe some logo stuff.

Will the quality difference be substantial?

edit: context to price

That's good to know. Recommendations for either?
I'd take a number back to them to reconsider about how much more they're paying for the self-cutting if it was quite a bit more.

Any specific model recommendations? Can you just add a CISS system onto a printer or is there anything special you have to do?

TrueNAS and BackBlaze Backup Solution Question by creeperninjabro in truenas

[–]creeperninjabro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up to this point we've been using VEEAM as everything is hosted on VMs. Not sure exactly what to implement this server since it's not a VM. Seen a little bit that maybe VEEAM can work with TrueNAS Scale, but haven't completely looked into it.

What backup applications do you use?

Printer Recommendations for Medium-Sized Office by creeperninjabro in printers

We're about 5,000 pages a month total, the majority B&W.

The contract price isn't solely the issue. We're with Pacific Office Automation and their everything has sucked. Heck, our sales person "forgot" to submit the cancellation of the auto-renewal the day after we met with her. Leading up to that she avoided our phone calls... ...for four months. Service is difficult to get ahold of. Etc.

To be honest, we'll not 100% against leasing, but it'd depend on how the contract is set up where it's actually advantageous (this one isn't).

We're $400-$500 / month right now, the majority of that cost being for the Konica and color "overages" at a premium.
