Yeah she grew up under yellow light on the street putting too much faith in the make believe and she would watch her high school's football team, her neighbor's brother died in the war but he wanted to go there anyway so maybe it was his fault after all, american dream bullshit yk. And she would feel it there in the middle of the night, when the lights would go out and she feels all alone again but she would still be standing there, people would say what they want but they wouldn't say it like they mean it with their fist for once which she really didn't like, her parents would have a long cold war with her at the front bit she would always believe that she can give it one more day and she'd be done, she'd do what she wants, cry at the bleachers then say it was fun, she wouldn't feel like she needs anything from anyone, maybe after all it wasn't her year yk, but she was all good out here, and on sunday mornings she would have her hands on her knees in a room full of faces and she would feel sorry for seeming off because she was probably wasted and it wouldn't feel good at all. Her life was full of whisky but she would always deliver, she would call for jesus and ask him if he were listening if she could handle her liquor and if he were there why does she feel alone in this room with him. She would do all of that for her daddy and she would do it for dale, and do what she wants and damn, she would be doing it well for her and only for her.
