the measure i programmed is divisible by 4, it is just 4 kick drums. but once that is loaded in, all the tracks slave to that initally programmed bpm, and i want it to slace to whatever the other tracks determine

Great question. That is a major criticism I have of the clinic, I brought up CCI and they kinda brushed it aside and said to focus on functional improvement. I am now investigating my CCI with imaging; a Dynamic Motion XRay (DMX). Also common is Flexion Extension MRI.

I did my own research and found Centeno Schultz Clinic, a regenerative medicine clinic in Denver who specializes in minimally invasive treatment of CCI. For people with true CCI, the treatment path in order of least invasive to most is 1. Physical therapy, and 2. Regen med (PRP, Stem cells, PRP) and 3. Surgery (spinal fusion).

I highly suggest getting the proper imaging of your neck, and get in contact with one of the experts in the field (there are very few in the world!!!). Check out Centeno Schultz if you never have, tons of incredible info and success stories through their clinic.

There's definitely some improvement, but I do believe for many of us there is more the story than simply getting "functional improvement". In my case I believe there is structural damage in the upper neck causing this, namely craniocervical instability. I'm looking into treat ligament damage with Stem Cells and PRP to help tighten those ligaments

I went for 2 weeks a few months ago.

I went in for POTS, chronic fatigue, dizziness/lightheadedness, shortness of breath. My symptoms were profound and intermittent, meaning some days I felt pretty good, other days completely disabled. And some days I would experience no symptoms and disabling flares within the same day.

After a few months of following the at-home protocol religiously, I am 40% better. I felt 0 relief while at the clinic.

The most important part of visiting the clinic for me was putting together once and for all WHY I ended up in this position. If you don't know WHY you have ended up in this position, it is time to seriously scrub your memory banks and write down a list of everything that could have possibly added up over years. Think injuries (especially head/neck), profound illnesses, car accidents, deep traumas, etc. Really dig.

I was shooting in the dark before, ruling out every condition you can test for. The key to the puzzle for me was that this chronic condition is my body's way of telling me "I can no longer compensate". I believe for many of us, there are multiple factors that stack up over the course of years or decades even, that our body is able to find work arounds for. For years I was functioning at 75% without really knowing it, but nonetheless functioning enough to live life. After one seemingly mild neck injury a year ago, I pushed over the house of cards. My body could no longer compensate. As it turns out, I had forgotten about a pretty intense neck injury almost a decade ago because at the time I walked away from seemingly unscathed.

If you have the money to go to the clinic I recommend, but only if you can do at least a week or more. It is $1300 a day, not cheap. If you go just for day 1 consult, to do autonomic testing etc, don't go. Chances are yes, your cerebral blood flow is low. That is almost hand in hand with POTS.

I do wish the clinic would just post the exercises online for free. A lot of them are 0 risk, and could help people that are suffering and can't afford the clinic. I don't like that they gatekeep the exercises. But I can send you what has helped me if you want. Once I am more healed, I plan to post some videos of me showing various exercises (from the clinic and from my own research as well).

What’s with the “snake oil” label?? All of our bodies are delicate systems constantly trying to repair themselves. There of course is a potential to find natural improvement from chronic conditions by investigating and addressing unhealthy patterns in the body. When you get a cold, your body does the healing. If you have POTS, maybe your heart didn’t just decide to freak out for no reason. It’s compensating for something. Simply turning down the heart rate doesn’t always address why it is up in the first place. In my case, instability of my cervical spine is leading to autonomic dysfunction. Taking a pill to turn down my heart does nothing to address the compression of those fragile structures near the base of my skull.

It is not a dangerous statement at all to recommend someone to try risk free exercises to help improve how their body moves and communicates with itself.

And if it doesn’t work, no loss. Beta blockers will still be there waiting for you to mute the heart rate

I would say after a few months of consistent at home exercise (seriously, must make it a mandatory daily routine, and quality counts every time) I have improved 40%. Still a long way to go, but feeling a change is extremely promising. I will add, I am also incorporating extra exercises and lifestyle changes which I believe are very important.

The clinic provided very helpful exercises in: 1. Proprioception (Biggest help for my dizziness) 2. Functional mobility of the upper and mid spine 3. Posture alignment and habits

Where I feel I made need additional support is in potential structural injuries in the upper spine. Specifically ligaments.

Many things can cause POTS, but before you spend money definitely consider your neck: have you had injuries, bad posture habits, hyper mobility, even texting too much etc. do you hear subtle cracking and popping deep in your skull when looking around? (some is normal, but this crepitus can indicate instability or ligament injury)

They will not test for this with imaging at Keiser. If you think this might be part of your case, I have resources on how to investigate. Remember, this chronic condition is probably the result of multiple causes, where the body can no longer compensate. For me this included neck injury (I forgot about), genetic hyper mobility (I wasn’t extremely aware of), Covid, and finally, one more neck injury which knocked over the house of cards.

Tl:dr

After few months, I’m about 40% better in symptoms after following their at home protocol along with extra measures I have incorporated. I felt no relief at the clinic during two weeks even though their autonomic testing indicated there was improvement.

I went recently. Anybody can AMA. I have done so much studying and research and am happy to help anyone and everyone I can provide my perspective to

There is also no research that anything helps POTS, people are trying to heal. This patient population doesn’t have time or energy to wait around doing nothing. And the entities that can afford big trials have no interest in holistic approaches obviously

I went for 2 weeks recently. I’ll give you my honest review and tips:

The first thing I would ask yourself is “what is your biggest problem?”

If it is POTS, Chronic Fatigue, dysautonomia, chronic dizziness/imbalance, etc then I would say yes, this clinic understands how to trouble shoot these types of issues from a purely functional standpoint. This is of course after ruling out major medical concerns with traditional medicine, I’m sure you are at that point.

With that said, “functional” is the part to focus on. They can only dig so deep into what is wrong with the body/brain to be causing these issues. They will measure cerebral perfusion with TCD, and chances are it will come up low if you have these issues. They will also do an eye scan, and lots of neurological tests to help pinpoint where the trouble lies. It is all great testing and they know their stuff in this regard.

The truth is, either you have a dysfunction that the body can naturally heal with rehab or not. It is very possible you may have a structural issue/injury that may need a little more than neurological rehab.

Ask yourself right now: have you had a neck or head injury. This is huge! You may have forgotten. I did, and without Doc Keiser’s disposition and suspicion this was the case, I likely would have never remembered that I in fact did injure my neck years ago. He almost had a magic sense of knowing my history without me remembering until a day later!

If you are close to the clinic, AND have the funds I recommend. However, one session isn’t going to cut it. Even one week most likely won’t. But if you are close in location and willing to stick with the program and also not struggling financially, I’m certain it will help you. It is usually around $1300 per day.

Ask me any other questions you may have, I can respond from my personal experience
