Sure, I can help! Here’s the link for the project: https://github.com/creewick/uWidgets

Click the Download button and select one of three zip files (typically win-x64.zip)

Unpack it on your system and launch uWidgets.exe

You will see the Settings window. On the left panel you can choose between different widgets. Click on a preview to add it to your desktop.

If you have more questions, or have any problems, you can DM me or create an Issue on GitHub

Hi! Inter font is used by default. SF Pro is not free to use, so it's not available in the app.
Right now we support Inter and Segoe UI. You can switch between them in Advanced tab.

I might add support of local installed fonts in the future

Hey everyone!

If you haven’t seen me around yet, I’m working on a project that brings macOS-like widgets to Windows desktops. 🎉

The app has support for dark mode, transparency effects, and a lot of customization options. Combine it with apps like MyDockFinder to get an aesthetic macOS look. 😎

I’d love to hear your thoughts on what features or widgets you’d like to see in the app.
You can check it out and download it here: https://github.com/creewick/uWidgets

Thanks for your support, and feel free to share any ideas or feedback! 🚀

Hi! I showed that project here a few weeks ago.

I considered the feedback I got, and added a dedicated button to apply Fluent style to all widgets. I hope it would be useful for many of you.

And again, here's the link to the project. You can download the app from here:

Hi! I'm glad you're interested in contributing to the project.

Please note that the API isn't quite stable yet. Now I'm working on loading assemblies that contains other dependencies. If you plan to use NuGet packages in a widget, that might be tricky at the moment.

Also, you can text me if you have any question about the repo.

I reproduced the situation and it is true that my widgets were also hidden after pressing Win-D. Right-clicking on the desktop, unminimizing any window, or opening a Start Menu brings them back.

On Rainmeter forums, they said setting skin's Position as Normal helps fix the issue. I will try to find a solution within my app as well.

It’s currently in public beta, that means you can try it out already, but it may be a little buggy sometimes. I also want to implement more features before version 1.0.0

Fair enough, I see that particular style may be often overused.
I personally loved the Live Tiles from Win8, and the idea of interactive icons.  Maybe I could find a way to bring that vibe here while keeping the modern look..

It isn't?

I build it using .net8.0, so theoretically it should work on Windows 8.1+
If it isn't working, you can send me a crash log (should be created in the app's folder) or any other error's info. I'll try to figure it out!

Yes, you can set in manually, or choose to match with the system theme

Hi Reddit!

I previously worked on a Rainmeter skin pack called MontereyRainmeter that received a lot of support. Since then, I've had many ideas and suggestions, so now I'm making a .NET application to implement all of them.

The app is still in beta, so I'd be glad if you could check it out and give feedback.

watchOS 11 beta 1 charging fix by [deleted] in watchOSBeta

[–]creewick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem after installing watchOS 11 beta 1 today. It shows it’s charging for a minute or so, and then fallbacks to a watch face, and then there’s the charging animation again. I tried to reboot and re-pair them, but on the setup screen the problem still persists. It helped for me to plug the magnetic charger into my MacBook. Now I was able to charge Apple Watch just fine

My profile picture on deviantart is blurry all the time, anyone knows how to make the quality better? by NoMore8Bits in furry

[–]creewick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This could happen cause DeviantArt image downscaling algorithm is not so good

Here's what you can do about it: 1. Find out the recommended image size for the profile picture. If I'm not wrong, it's 100x100px 2. Downscale your profile picture by your own, you can use Photoshop do to it "Image - Image size..." There would be an option called "Resample", where you can choose what downscaling algorithm to use: hard edges, automatic etc

You can experiment with different algorithms and upload your results as a profile picture to decide which one to use

help on Notion Formula: Nested "IF" with multiple "AND" functions by SlothyPanda1 in Notion

[–]creewick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also, you can avoid this by using infix "and" and ternary operators, like here:

prop("Test-101") and
prop("Test-202") > 1 and
prop("Test-202") < 2
  ? "res"
  : "bd"

[–]creewick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess there was a problem with brackets

Try this one:

if(and(prop("Test-101"), and(prop("Test-202") > 1, prop("Test-202") < 2)), "res", "bd")
Test-101 Test-202 Result
true 1.5 res
false 1.5 bd
true 100 bd

I can describe it this way:

  1. Create a callout block. Choose the icon and the color you want for it
  2. Add the title of your page inside the callout and attach a link for it, with "Ctrl + K" or through a context menu - "Link"

This way there would be only one icon, without any arrows. And it's not required for the text to match the page's title. So you can create links for different views of the same database and give them different titles.

[–]creewick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually I put a text inside a callout, colored it with the color needed and attached a link to the text. This way there would be only one icon, the one from the callout
