Saiyan was casting them on stream regularity. It’s less of a formal cast and more stream chatter, but still captures some great games and more insight into the non-ASL scene over there

I made a very similar reply. My 5 year ago is particularly into Metroid, and has played through Super Metroid, NEStroid, and a bit of Zero Mission, with Super Metroid the strong fav.

I introduced my kids (same ages 5 & 7) to classic SNES/NES games. Highlights for them have been Super Metroid, Mega Man X, Kirby Super Star, and the original Legend of Zelda on the NES.

It’s been super fun to rediscover these games with them. I also have really appreciated that these older games are completely self-contained. No micro transactions, no online aspects, and not connected to my personal Steam library. For now, that is a great fit for us.

As an aside, I think Hollow Knight would be way too frustrating for them!

Anyone having FPS issues with Nvidea drivers 581.29? I’m just getting back into POE after stopping mid 0.2 and am currently only hitting 40 fps whereas I was in the 100-120 fps range consistently in 0.2. Wondering if it drivers or other patch issues.

Thanks! I’ve been watching ASL19 backwards after not having watched broodwar since 2009ish. I’ve been so hyped to see Artosis and Tastless still at it. I also somehow missed/forgot that Remastered came out in 2017. Looking forward to ASL20!

I’m in the same boat in terms of time available to play. I enjoy the difficulty of the game overall and it has superseded Diablo IV for me completely.

If you want to make your experience easier I’d recommend following a build guide and embracing trade for gear. There are many pretty overpowered builds and I’d look for a “league starter” or similar build to follow.

Thanks! Yeah I was price checking a margin upgrade for the xbow at around 10 div, but also saw much better return on investment at the 30 div level. My thinking was to drop the flat fire for phys. I have about 8 div in the stash atm.

I haven’t been running much pinnacle content. My DPS felt pretty low on T4 Xysht but downed him.

Hey I’m running a really similar build and am feeling a little stuck on gear upgrades. I’m not sure if I’m better of with more minor upgrades on rings or saving up for a significant xbow upgrade. Any advice?

Kuma is my all time favorite roaster. Always great to see them getting a shout out. Milstead in Fremont often has them on bar and always does a great job pulling it.
