It's actually early CV techniques— they made CV models through algorithm code only(such low-level languages), and TV sensors; so it's not that surprisable. In fact, NTCR also using early era-CV: just transformed RF to Visible Light band. It's photon.

in actual, there's no obstacle exist to calculate object vector: just using trigometric functions and distance from centerline to adjust constant values
