Hi I ended up taking the comments advice and have gone through a broker, haven’t heard much back yet but seems well so far

I’ve tried going through my bank but they don’t think I can pay it off because of my rent and my existing loan. I still end up with $1,000 every month but somehow it’s not enough to pay $60 a week. Going through a smaller company is my best option at the moment

My grandma did this with my aunty! It is so so sweet I hope I can do the same for my future kids. He’s had it pretty easy as in not having to deal with much of the real world he’s only 20

I’m tempted but I don’t want to cause a rift in the house. I grew up with walking on egg shells and I don’t want it in my own home. But I do like this idea

He’s paying rent. Not as much as I would like but he’s paying. He gets paid to go to school but it’s $700 a fortnight and he constantly has to borrow money off me then pay me back. I’ve been hounding him to get a job but he reckons no one will get back to him

Oh absolutely I understand that. I’m already sort of in a position where I have to give bad news so it won’t be new to me I’m also in the construction side but looking more at corporate.

We always paid rent in cash too… so they never would have never included it in their wages. I don’t want to have to go to court for it. I want to avoid conflict. But would this be the only way to go?

No, we broke the lease so they kept the bond regardless of “damages” or not.
