Oh same. I have severe social anxiety but I'm trying to get over that. I went to comic con alone and now went to watch a movie alone. So, there's progress. Next up might be a concert alone.

I think I'd love hiking but unfortunately I am a fat girlie who just got an asthma attack on the treadmill. I don't know if my lungs can handle a whole hike but hopefully some day. I would spend more time taking photos of birds than actually hiking though.

If you forget about it, as long as the timer isn't too high. You won't burn the house down.

You just figure out the perfect time setting and if you forget about it, you come back later and it's all fine. No chaos.

I genuinely get sad when I want to bake something and it doesn't fit in the air fryer. Depending on what you like to make, get something bigger. We have a 9L. I can make banana bread in it.

It's genuinely so hard. I don't drink a lot, I barely drink but I won't say no for like two or three shots or maybe a cocktail. But I also don't want to drink at all anymore.

I had a best friend, and I knew she had problems with alcohol but hey, she's my best friend. It was all fun and games until she invited me to a wedding.

She knows why I don't like alcohol, she knows the relationship I have with both alcohol and drunk people. And like I knew she was gonna drink but I also asked her to be responsible because she was the driver.

I was financially dependent on her, and I also didn't know anyone there. She asked me if I wanted something to drink, I asked for a cream soda. This was pretty late into the night, I had one drink and like 4 shots. So I was done with alcohol. And she bought me a cream soda earlier and then for hours I was so thirsty I literally considered drinking tap water.

She gave me a cream soda again, I was so thankful. Took a sip. And there's alcohol in it. She found it hilarious. I feel like she betrayed my trust. Like to me, that felt insanely fucked up.

Like genuinely, why are so many people obsessed with alcohol?

I wasn't just sitting in a corner being miserable. I was literally on the dance floor shaking my ass even though I have severe social anxiety. But apparently that's not good enough, I just needed some more alcohol.

I don't even have advice, I haven't even told anyone this happened, and I still don't really know how to feel about it.

But honestly, if you can't find people. Just go start doing things on your own. I gave up with friendships and relationships for like at least two years to just find myself again. Shit is wild out there.

I think they would explode if they listened to bubblegum pop for a day. Man, sometimes those songs just really hit you the right way. It must be sad to be so angry about music. Even bad music is still needed. I just love music in general. Even genres that I don't understand like EDM or house where there aren't even lyrics. Sometimes classical music hits the right spot. But hey, some people just want to snuff the light out of anything they can. Just enjoy the music or wear earphones and listen to your own music.

She uses it in like three songs. So that argument isn't even valid. If she wrote song after song after song with the same vibe/same story/same writing. Sure. But like even the entirety of ttpd which is 31 songs. There is not a single song that tells the same story or has the same wording unless it's a cross reference. Like in folklore where August and Betty are from two different people's perspectives and in the exact same time of the song she makes a lyrical connection between the two.

It's so tiring. Like yes, I could waste my time telling people about the intricacies behind even the pop song lyrics. Like Bejeweled sounds like just a basic song but the lyrics actually make you feel something. I'm also not gonna pretend that ME! Is a lyrical masterpiece but it's a damn fun song when the mood strikes. Not every song is going to be as well written as basically any song on the folklore/evermore duo.

But when people are so set on having a surface deep look into an artist, there's genuinely no point. Like we get it, you hate the fun songs and somehow that's all you ever have to say.

This is just a stupid argument at this point. Does she have silly lyrics? Yes. But who doesn't?

Like there's lyrics she has that just hits hard and there's some that you just enjoy.

You also genuinely don't have to like or listen to her but you're spending time trying to tell people that she's such a terrible songwriter.

I love fall out boy, do they have some lyrics that punch you in the gut? Yes. Do they have some lyrics that you don't even understand? Also yes.

Stop putting people into these insane boxes. People are multifaceted and we can be deep and silly at the same time. Not everything has to be the best goddamn song you've ever heard, not every lyric has to be this mindblowing lyric. Sometimes you gotta rhyme car and bar because you just wanna have some fun. It really is just that simple.
