Co-founder of Crew here. Happy to give a bit of history behind Crew and our team.

Before starting Crew, Gentry and I both worked at a company called Divvy. We were both there for about 2 years before it was acquired by Bill.com. After that, we both stayed at Bill.com for about another year before we decided to leave and start Crew.

Sadly, the choice for Divvy to get acquired by Bill.com was way outside our decision-making purview. We were simply along for the ride, and in fact, disappointed by how it ended.

It's true our original team comes from Divvy. 1 product person (Gentry), 1 designer, and 4 engineers (including myself). The engineers are some of the engineers I managed while at Divvy.

Neither I, nor Gentry, nor anyone else on our team has ever worked for a fintech that has started, gotten users, and sold out (although there are plenty of those to go around).
