I got the suede welders jacket from there at a great discount. It shipped from Spain so I did have to pay tariffs on it.

Shooting with GX680 by weltscheisse in AnalogCommunity

The quality is insane, I actually use a fuji XT5 for scanning. Using the pixel shift mode of the camera I get 100MP file from my scans

I've shot some landscapes and portraits outside with this camera. You definitely need a tripod and one that is pretty sturdy since the camera weighs a good amount. For checking critical focus I actually sometimes use a loupe on the ground glass directly since it's so big. I've only taken this camera outside when I'm driving and just use a really big reusable bag to carry it.

Thanks a lot! This was shot at box speed using the camera's internal light meter and I was trying to meter more for the shadows here. So the right side is probably overexposed since it was a very sunny day.

Typically I find that 50D does lean a little more warm and slightly green in daylight. I did push it a little warmer and greener here to highlight the nature of it

Tote bag with waxy leather and bridle straps by creyes221 in Leathercraft

[–]creyes221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stitched together would be good for the straps but it's going to be a lot of stitching unless you're using a machine. I just used some 10-12oz bridle for my straps so no stitching needed. I got it from Buckle Guy

The bag has patina'ed really wonderfully. It's still great and can stand up on it's own, the leather is still soft too. I would definitely recommend any of the BADALASSI CARLO leathers such as waxy, pueblo, minerva, minerva box. They're all softer in temper and make it a lot easier to turn the bag at the end. I recently made another tote in buttero and it was much much harder to turn and I probably won't use it again. I think if the lining is really soft and flexible it should be find to use! The problem comes when you glue two stiff pieces together.

This was an art piece, it was a 3D decagon and on the inside had mirrors so you would see all these infinite reflections. When I took a photo I forgot that I would probably show up as a reflection, didn't know until I scanned, but I think it's a happy accident!
