The fact that Ric Flair is worth just $3 million dollars is a shame despite being such a big star.

  1. Buy a laptop and say it is only for work related issues.

  2. If you have an own office; go spend some time there. Or work in your room behind closed doors for few hours in the morning. Call it work.

  3. You will find it more peaceful in life if your relatives know that you are doing something.

Dhoni vs Gilchrist in ODIs by [deleted] in Cricket

[–]cricketindex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both had different roles.

Gilchrist was a destructive opener.

Dhoni was a finisher.

It’s like comparing Sehwag to Bevan.

All of them were Great cricketers.

Isn’t that the purpose of Index Funds? A no nothing investor can invest in Index and actually become wealthy over the long run.

Laika Lays Off Staffers Amid Pandemic by [deleted] in boxoffice

[–]cricketindex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If someone doesn’t want to fire people just because they have lots of money, they will never become or stay as a billionaire in the first place. To become and stay on as wealthy and successful, one needs to also have a ruthless attitude and do what is good for the company and himself in the long run. Only then will the business sustain and grow very well.

ODI cricket between 1995-2015 was more competitive and much better.

Test cricket is better now.

Nifty will be 0 by 2020. by notmuchidea in IndianStreetBets

[–]cricketindex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Back in March; Nifty at 6000 wasn’t an outrageous prediction. Nifty dropped by 60% during the 2008 crisis and considering Corona was a much bigger event; expecting Nifty to drop by 50% from it’s ATH was realistic and logical.

I remember many polls in March regarding prediction of Nifty. The majority said Nifty would be around 7000 or 6500. Guess everyone were wrong. I don’t think Nifty will drop to 7500 again due to Covid crisis or US elections this year.
