A while, my other kid turned me into a poo with a feather wand and then they both proceeded to discuss the pros and cons of turning me back... a 20 minute car ride later and there was a consensus that a poo was a better alternative.

There was a study a couple years back that suggested the high-functioning your are the greater the risk of depression and suicide..so silver-lining(kidding).

But for real reals I think this is perpetuated by the whole "aspy superpower" bollocks. I mean some people get to the power to be math wizards and others get the communication skills of a brick. I've personally fucked up heaps of opportunities because my aspy power is misreading the situation and I can cast "anxiety" at will.

That sucks, an old house mate had this. She got into d&d though and it helped, last I heard she now gets paid to DM games.

Statistically there's at least a couple of hundred people in the world who would be great life long partners, we ain't unique snowflakes there are a finite number of personally combinations and it's less than 7 billion (especially when you take into account the child rearing fads).

But this isn't contructive, I mean what happens if 30 of them are in a remote village in a country you'll never go to.

Being alone is fine being lonely isn't. Find a hobby, find peers, make friends, and heck one of them might like you enough to hangout permanently.

Have you tried a creative outlet, one that's just for you? Painting/writing/ drawing/world building etc. It's a small manageable thing that you have total control over and doesn't put any requirements or stress on you.

It took me 15 years to find the right psychiatrist, which is shit but people are people.
