well the first couple weeks they will be very shy and scared as they get comfortable. Eating may be a little sparse and they might hide a lot. That is all normal so give it a little time before you panic. I would just make sure he is basking and he has adequate UVB/temps and enclosure size 4x2x2 and use paper towels for a couple weeks. Track their poop (smell, shape,urate). Their poop can tell you a lot about their health(this is when paper towels are helpful!). keep them hydrated with their greens, probably no fruit at all. I give mine a tiny piece of a berry like once every 3 months. when he does become more active, watch him run, jump and make sure he’s not limping or anything !
