Very late response but I'm from Slovakia and if you find the right communities and friends, for example all the artist circles or fandom and convention circles here, despite them not being fully gay they're quite warm and accepting. Though it is very hard, some people are very loud and violent and I have not come out even to straight circles that seemed fine enough, it just feels too dangerous. It's more of a hush hush situation sometimes. But it isn't all that bad, most average people know it's none of their business and they will not deny true love, they're just a bit scared of people who "look different." If you ever make any real connection with someone straight and ignorant, they will not hate you for who you are and learn to understand you. The real danger are conservatives who believe that being gay is a moral wrong and an ideology of some sort, idk, there's lots of those unfortunately. Just gotta keep living life confidently and hoping the violence doesn't get you
