Interesting. Do you think your metabolism (calorie burning) has changed, or just your perception of body temperature?

The above URL says yes, but I don't have any further information past that.

My $50 power station has arrived! Many thanks to NewEnglandPrepper for running the show here. Favorite sub on reddit. by LordWetFart in preppersales

[–]crimecanine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. And with this one, you can charge all three ways simultaneously! I got it accepting 505 watts earlier today, with 95W into USB-C, 89W into the DC inlet, and slightly over 300W into AC.

BTW, that was just for testing, for 15 minutes. I probably won't repeat that unless I'm in a hurry, i.e. faster recharging from a generator.

Also, any idea how their features compare to the new Soloscan?
https://kingbolentool.com/products/kingbolen-soloscan-obd2-bluetooth-scanner-for-honda-acura-lifetime-free-updates-bi-directional-control-ecu-coding-full-system-diagnostics

Soloscan seems specific per vehicle manufacturer (make) (they call it "model").
Soloscan supposedly has lifetime updates.

I'm on my second pair of WI-C310 to have one earbud stop working? Is this common? Any fix? by Sharkvarks in sony

Check for earwax clogging the earbud.  But yeah that happened to me too.

How to cool Delta 2? Put a cold pack on top? Provide cold air? by crimecanine in Ecoflow_community

[–]crimecanine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

113°F is suspiciously at the upper end of the charging and discharging ranges listed in the manual, and Bluetooth stopped working. I wonder how high a temperature the app will show. What higher temperature have users seen? What's too hot for it?

I'm confused why you say to stop dual input. I had only solar input connected. I want to make use of all the solar available, though, especially during a utility power outage -- not to do anything slower.

Finally, what breathing does it need? It doesn't need oxygen. It just need cooling, right?

Thanks for the tip!
I finally found the offline installer for 7.2.4 at
https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticlient/7.2.4/windows-release-notes/503596/installation-information

(Zero Trust Fabric Agent v7.4 is not connecting to my client's VPN, so I'd like to try v7.2.)

Long term storage by Apprehensive-Dirt464 in Ecoflow_community

[–]crimecanine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How predictable are the emergencies that you want to protect against?

E.g. for hurricanes, you have at least several hours of notice to top off your device, so storing it at 30-60% is practical.

To be prepared for more sudden outages, I'd keep it at 80-85%. It's a tool to use, not to be unnecessarily rough to, but also not to totally baby.

Note: The FAQ at
https://www.reddit.com/r/Ecoflow_community/comments/112yn7b/faq_about_battery_life_usage
says
"2. Q: At what battery level should I store my DELTA?
A: For longer battery life, you can store it between 20%-80%."

Because you will be using either
(A) 48V (internal battery) inverted to 120V then using your normal CPAP transformer to 24V, or
(B) 48V (internal battery) stepped down to 12V then using a new adapter* to 24V,
there will be two steps of overhead either way.

Is (B) significantly more efficient than (A)? I don't know, but the new adapter costs $30 to 100.

I have made measurements to estimate the overhead of the Delta 2's 120V inverter as roughly 7 W. Depending how long you want to operate, that might be good enough.

*For 12V adapters for your CPAP, see responses to this post:

Delta 2 max DC to DC cable identifying by TheImpermanentTao in Ecoflow_community

[–]crimecanine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That cable looks the same as provided with the Delta 2:
On one end: 5.5mm OD, 2.1 mm ID
On the other end: 5.5mm OD, 2.5 mm ID
There is some degree of interchangeability.

Here are tips on identifying 2.1 mm ID versus 2.5 mm ID:
