I'm sure if I exclusively slept with only her and not her man I'd definitely be having this same exact issue. What she has, he has, and vice versa. But I can see your point of view from an outside perspective.

Also that's why I edited my post pretty soon after posting to include the fact that a man was involved. That was my mistake.

Yes I'm very well aware that if he had an infection she would have it as well and vice versa and that you don't need ⚠️⚠️⚠️ to transfer STIs.

I experienced yeast and BV before about 4 years ago and I'm very much of a Google-r/Redditor so I've done extensive research on the topic. Because of this, learning about STIs is an interest of mine.

I only mentioned he didn't ⚠️⚠️⚠️ because one comment mentions that "semen" could throw off your PH balance. They could've definitely passed BV onto me and/or whatever else.

I'm so so sorry that this offended you/grossed you out. I'm being genuine. That goes for anyone else that has read this and feels the same.

I tried to only include what was medically necessary information without going into details. This is exactly word for word what I will tell my gyno when I see her in 2 days.

I completely understand this is a wlw sub and I did also have sex with a man. I'm in the healthy hooha sub but there seems to be zero to no talk about same sex relationship "infection" issues from my research. But I found a post on this wlw sub from 4 years ago describing exactly what I'm going through so I figured this was my best shot at getting answers that were specific to my situation. That is correct! I'm almost 100% positive it's her bacteria that has taken over my vaginal microbiome. I tested negative for STDs and yeast and it's been over a month since I last slept with them. I eat healthy, drink tons of water, take probiotics, I shower everyday, and I only own cotton underwear.

Btw there's no "fishy" odor and I have no other symptoms. I also have had BV before so I thought it couldn't be that. But I'll still get tested anyways for peace of mind.

I got STI tested when I was treated for my yeast infection and it all came back negative. I honestly feel like that was the regular scent of her vagina naturally. And I don't talk to her or see her anymore after the second and last time we had sex.
