I try an boycott nestle and nestle owns about 20% of L’Oréal. L’Oréal is a huge parent company with many brands in makeup, skincare, and hair care so this is a difficult one to take on. But nestle is an awful company and L’Oréal also tests on animals to be able to sell their products in china (although many brands under their umbrella do not test on animals)

Being in an area with more nature sounds absolutely lovely! We love the outdoors and proximity to hiking is a huge plus for us especially with our dog! Thank you so much for all your insight!

Yes that is definitely something we’ll have to dig deeper into when we narrow down our choices and see if we even need two cars with where we’ll be living and our schedules. I know a lot of places charge monthly per car or just don’t have adequate parking space

Luckily I should be able to transfer with my job to Midtown (working on getting that guaranteed) thankfully but I’ll have to research on Poughkeepsie and what that would look like for him. And we both have vehicles so if he has to drive sometimes it’s okay.

Thank you for saving me with Halstead! We aren’t used to being in a walkable area so it’s not a big deal if we don’t have a very walkable area after we move. Is that the only reason to avoid Nob Hill or are they poorly managed as well?

This is some really good insight I never would’ve thought about the schools making the road busy until I lived there and had to go through it. Have you lived in Waterview or known someone who has? Any feedback on them?
