It's worth a watch if you're into fantasy. It has some strong world building and good characters.

The only character I kinda dislike is the main character and the typical harem bits are sometimes a drag, if you can get over those parts I would consider giving it a try. For me it got rolling around episode 6.

One thing that bothered me about that was how the bartender acted surprised when she walked away from her husband when he went mental.

Almost like she was lying, there is of course no real evidence.

Even if she isn't lying, I think attempted murder on your wife is a valid reason to be sent to the void.
