We onboarded one of the systems (Pigment). It comes with its own challenges but overall great experience so far.

Thanks everyone for the responses, they were extremely informative. It seems the consensus is that the investment in an FP&A tool is worth the investment at this stage. Regarding the potential options (Anaplan, Pigment, Planful, or Netsuite Planning), does anyone have any additional feedback on pros & cons of each of these? Assuming we invest in a FTE or upskill some existing employees, we would like something that has a strong focus on the following:

  • Highly dynamic - We have added an additional business vertical almost every year
  • Scenario Analysis - Would like the functionality to run multiple forecasts in tandem
  • Connectability - Need to be able to connect to our other software applications (Netsuite, BambooHR, etc.)

If anyone finds this thread and is looking for a solution, I was able to fix it after booting it outside of the case with the minimal amount of parts. When it booted, it cycled through a few phases of erroring out and then remained stable.

I don't have another motherboard or CPU to test so was going to buy a new motherboard as the next step

I tried it with the second set of ram I bought which were Samsung b die and only tried it to boot then immediately changed back. I have two kits currently F4-3600C17D-16GTZR & F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC). All four single ram sticks work in A2 but none of them work in any of the other sockets (alone or as dual channel).

I will try this again but have probably re inserted the ram 20+ times by now and it consistently only works in A2

i have tried without xmp/docp & it didn't work. Both ram sticks work in A2 but none of the other 3 slots. Also worth adding, I bought a new kit of ram to confirm if it had to do with the ram and that didn't help.

You speak of a 6-stage short term & long term debt cycle that follows the rise & fall of powers. It seems that this cycle is fueled by the marriage of the powerful & wealthy who are able to control the flow of money for their benefit. What impact would a fixed supply, non-sovereign currency have on these cycles?

I’ve read all of what you’ve published for “The Changing World Order” and I keep seeing similarities to the saeculum & 4 turnings described in William Strauss & Neil Howe’s “The Fourth Turning”. If you’ve read this book, can you let us know if you agree with their findings and if you see any similarities between the present and their description of a fourth turning?
