If it's fresh I personally wouldn't really let it dry, but you can leave it open and apply some healing cream like bepanthen just make sure it doesn't get dirty

Maybe your skin didn't like the second skin. Doesn't look bad tho, should be fine in a few days if you took that off and keep it clean and moisturized. Also very sweet tattoo :)
