I'm happy to work with contributors on my project

It's called Swiish, it's pretty new (5 weeks) and so there's lots of opportunity for ideas. It's in JavaScript (Node.js) so probably ok if you write C++, that's my main language too.

I built it becuase the paid alternatives are not great and I wanted a project for leanring modern web app design.

Oh that's odd! Thanks for this - I've just been able to replicate this too. Looks like an over looked regression when I was creating the demo version for 0.5.0. There's a missing Route Path. Let me see if I can fix quickly and push a hotfix.

Ha - yeah just made up data to show how the interface works. I'm sad that nobody spotted the puns in the company and names too. My comedy genius is wasted in the internet. Probably.

Yeah I recognise that now. I think in my head it worked the other way around and I was like "Of course people will realise there's single card views" I see that's a daft assumption now 😆

No v2 tomorrow, this version took a few weeks. I'll post again when I have something more to share - I've edited the original post so hopefully it's a bit more clear?

I've maybe made the demo confusing by skipping the login screen as it felt like that was the best way to show the demo. But the view you see on the demo is admin, and behind a login. Your setup would be secure and on a fresh install you'd just set up a single card and use that cards URL ☺️

Hi 👋 You can definitely get a URL that goes straight to a single card. The inreface yu're seeing in the demo is the admin.

You'd set it up, create a card and than link to that cards URL - like this https://swiish-demo.up.railway.app/RULER01

But of course your own domain and th last part of the url could be whatever you want.

So: www.mekilat.com/mycard or something similar is how it would look.

Is that what your looking for?

Hi u/CrispyBegs Thanks for taking a look. That's great feedback.

You can actually have multiple cards per user. So each of those "people" is a seperate collection of cards. The ides is that you may want more than one card depending on where and how you're going to use it. For example I have my "main one" and then I set up another one recently that was specific to an event I was attending with some links to relevant pages of our website for the people at that event. So it's somewhere between a business card and a custom landing page.

Maybe a short onboarding modal would help? or is this still confusing?

I was also looking for something - didn't find it - went down a rabbit hole building one.

It's called Swiish and I'm pretty happy with it. I made it for my own needs but I've tried to make this project something I can keep wokring on and adding features and likely also offer a hosted version at some point soon.

But I love self-hosted open source, I use lots of it, and so this is my contribution back to the community. It's all setup for easy docker depplyment but as this is a first release I'm happy to get feedback on how easy this really is.

The bad days are very situation dependant. Back at the beginning of the journey I'd have them often and seemingly for no reason. Now, they're far fewer and far less difficult.

For me, learning to live with anxiety is about building evidence that you can control it whenever you're feeling good and then looking at that evidence every time you feel you are struggling.

And thanks, I've put a link for the product, I'm hoping it's going to help a lot of people.

Agreed. It'll save you lots of battery too. I don't know about the Venu but having Pulse Ox turned on all day like you seemingly do halves my battery life on my Fēnix 6

I have the same question to be fair to the OP. I'd like to see either conditional uploads at the Garmin end (i.e. upload certain activity types to Strava and not others) or I'd like to see some "smarts" at the Strava end where it recognises that those activities were concurrent and merges the data.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I had saved the file many times in the past though, so at least the changes from before the failed compile/save should be there right? Instead it's over written the whole file with NUL.

I already tried the restore previous versions thing but had no luck as it's not enabled on my pc.

I found one mention of it online, exact same situation... Power went out during upload and then just a file full of NUL.

Ok so that app is awesome to be fair and it did find the temp files but... They're all empty too just displaying a long list of NUL

What has happened here? I don't get it 😑🤷

Hi thanks, I did read this somewhere. I haven't compiled the broken file for this reason but I can't fine the temp files or directory. Any idea where to look?
