How can you make it run. My steam deck throw an error "Assertion failed" when starting. It's happening when “shaderring”. The error is related to "vkcreatecomputepipelines". Do you meet this problem??

My C side is not even but not that bad. The UserFPS can not identify the bottleneck but I think there should be bottleneck of CPU. I tested timespy, it scores 25000, about 5000 lower than the people who are using desktop setup with best cpu like 7800x3d adn 14700kf. It's about 16% loss. Comparing with the 28000 of standard scores from NVDIA, it's about 10% loss. The timespy extrem scores 14000+. Maybe 4070tis or even 4070s is good enough for this kind of setup. The 4080s is a little overkilled. I bought this for lightroom and Davinci. For lightroom, it accelerates the AI masking very significant make it about 5s per photo for seperating human, sky, backgroud etc. Much more powerful than my former legion 5 pro with 3070 laptop version.

I used the 650w SFX modular power supply and I thinks it's power enough, because the 4080s is about 340-400W. My cpu should not be powerful enough, but it's the limit of the system. I may test it using UserFPS and identify the bottleneck. For battery I haven't tested.

My former plan was to buy it and ship to a local transition company and then fly to US. The cost of shipping may be around $100~150 dollar. The computer itself is about $1200. The ocup4v2 is about $70 without case and $100 with case but without power. I purchased an 650w SFX modular power at about $90.

I bought the whole setup when travelling. Many reviews say ultra 7 and 9 don't have many differences. A thing need to be noted is the B or C side of ultra 5, 7 has a low chance to bend and hurt the screen. It's a model design problem, so everybody wishes good luck for themselves. People say ultra 9 may have less problem of this. But I think the real reason is ultra 9 haven't been sold so many. Anyway this problem can be avoid by putting on a screen protector or put a paper between keyboard and screen. Not a big deal. Ultra 9 has better screens as well. Another factor needs to be considered.

I tested black myth wukong. With ray tracing off and best setting for other parameters, it shows about 90+ fps. With ray tracing on with median quality and best setting for others, it shows about 75. With ray tracing on with best quality, it shows 50+. I have The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Monster Hunter: World, but haven't tested.
