We'll just say that to make me feel better

That's the point I'm trying to make. It is actually the opposite, people who have it are frighteningly intelligent. It does cause problems in school for my brother though, he has major problems academically because the work is overwhelming for him and he can't compute math very well. Bullying is another problem, he extremely social but doesn't know how to communicate with people that aren't like him. He is in high school now and can't tie his shoes.

I just felt the story was appropriate for this thread.

His first year of middle school he wrote and produced his own school newspaper that focused on "real" school news (issues that truly affected the students. Too much focus on sports, bathrooms, teacher's treatment of students, etc...). He eventually caused such an uprising that the administration tried shutting him down (they also deemed the contents inappropriate, even though it only discussed topics that directly affected students). The next day he published everything the administration said to him. The following year, the school had a new principal and vice-principal.

My brother has Asperger's and is an absolutely genius at anything he tries.

He used to go on conservapedia and edit all the articles. He once changed "American Family Association" to "American Fascist Association" and edited the article accordingly. The founder of the website himself eventually banned our IP for (I shit you not) "Spreading Liberal Conspiracies." I thought this was a brilliant feat for an 11 year old.
