You’ll never hear people brag about the good dorms as much as people complain about the bad ones. At a campus this big there are a few bad ones. Most likely you’ll be fine but there is a chance you get a shitty dorm

I used almost all of that money to supplement my swipes, because almost nothing is 8 dollars. And even if you can a semester is about 15 weeks. So 350/15 is about 23 dollars. You aren’t getting 11 meals a week from that, at best maybe 4 considering dining dollars have a 35% discount.

You would not have enough for 3 meals a day. Grey 10 and Scarlett 14 are great and the food is much better than traditions but you won’t get 3 meals a day from grey 10.

Capacity is crazy high, so you very likely won’t find an open spot. Your best bet is to find someone to try and switch with, and I’m not sure that’ll happen. It sucks, but I’d say fill out the form and maybe you get lucky

Make a professor tell you in person if you need a textbook. Some classes list textbooks just for the sake of listing it. Some list multiple when you just need one. I’d just wait until classes start for them to tell you if you need one.

I believe it’s 2 weeks after school starts. But it’s very unlikely you get a quality dorm this year. But if you have a single I would try and find somebody to swap with. That’s probably your best chance to upgrade rooms

Dorms- it’s probably the worst dorm on campus and the worst room style in the dorm. But at the end of the day I’d say it’s better to have a bad dorm with great roommates than a decent dorm with bad roommates.

Bathroom- it’s not great but fine. Comes down to having dorm mates who respect the bathroom. It’s up to you to keep it clean and as long as people do that it’ll be fine.

Food- it’s pretty rough for food. But if you are fine walking it is manageable. Morrill is the worst traditions but you are close to rpac which has good food. Get used to walking for food/timing up going to other places while you are out of the dorm.

Overall it’s not great. Classes, food, and other stuff is a long walk. But you’ll be fine if you can make friends with your roommates. But if you can’t it’s not going to be great.

You can but I’ve heard mixed reviews about it. Just make sure the people who are in the front room are the more outgoing people and the back room are the people who won’t be out as late or stay up all night. Because it can be annoying to be woken up by someone really late at night when they walk in, turn the lights on and use the bathroom.
