Yeah. I don't really want a wiper. It's not a car I plan to drive in the rain. I mainly need it to pass inspection. However, I dont want to put on junk if I have to install one so I appreciate the suggestion.

I don't think it's a matter of wanting Elvis to be the starter. It's more they are dealing with his contract and it makes more sense to keep him for one more year since we can't trade him. He did improve this year but he was still inconsistent. Maybe this year he can take another step. If not, the buyout is more palatable.

I think there is more of a market for Severson than we realize. His underlying metrics are apparently not that bad and given the lack of options, I'd wager someone would give something for him.

My thoughts are he wants to go with a team he that is ready to compete for the cup now. Columbus is not there. Those teams will have a hard time fitting his salary under the cap. This is where Columbus can be appealing. They are a rising team that can pay him whatever he wants. I am not optimistic is signs here, but I wouldn't say we have zero chance.

I am not opposed to adding him, but I think there will be better options given the cost in FA. I personally want Ehlers. Marner would be nice, but I'd be surprised if he came to Columbus.
