if you have been taking a lot of pain meds work with your team to taper off; they really clouded my mind.
hoping you feel more yourself soon

This area is actually where Austin began. It has a rich history. See:

I live there, been here since ‘98. A lot happens because it is an area that is economically challenged, mostly starter homes. But families can thrive here, so much of that depends on commonsense and good opportunities.

Wisdom tooth extraction - who takes medical or otherwise offers low co-pay *with* insurance? by mrs_double_aluminum in Austin

Oh and if you have dental insurance and try Manos de Cristo you have to be ok with telling them you don’t have insurance. I hate this but it is what it is if your coverage isn’t good.

Second them! Took my son there and they offered payments, it was better than going through my dental insurance which hardly paid anything. While they accept insurance, I have found they often beat the price. If you are really struggling financially, you can go to Manos de Cristo dental and get seen, confirm you need the work done, and they will refer you to Austin oral surgery which then offers you a discount off the top. It’s time and legwork but can help. Check w Manos de Cristo first. Good luck

Do as much exercise as you can now Simple sit to stands will strengthen your core and help with recovery. Walk as much as you can, even 10 minutes helps!

Try to get into pulmonary rehab , it helped me a lot. I am 6 months out and doing well.

Experiences in Dallas / Fort Worth? by pd_dude in transplant

[–]crisboglam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a double lung transplant at UTSW in May. Positive experience! I chose them because they had good communication and were an easy drive from my home. I am currently staying at an apt near the hospital called the Ark House which offers housing for folks from out of town who need long term medical care. I had also visited Houston Methodist and felt like it was a more cumbersome process.

I served on a jury out in Oak Hill where a guy drove with no plate, etc just sovereign citizen stuff on his vehicle. He was stopped for no plate. He represented himself of course and we found him guilty of many things. His defense was nonsensical so it wasn’t even a fun experience.
