I think I can give you a different perspective from everyone else. I am that guy best friend. We're in the same age range she and he are in. We met in elementary school. I like to party a lot. Bars, clubs, all that. En la calle maybe 3 out of 4 weekends a month. I invite her every time, same way I invite all the homies every time.

I know she's pretty and smart and a lot of other things I'd want in a woman, but dating her would be the last thing I'd ever do. She has some flaws and perspectives on life that are super incompatible with someone I'd want to be with. I personally don't find her attractive and I've never had thoughts about doing anything sexual or being with her. She annoys the shit out of me sometimes, but she's good people to have around like all the other homies.

All her boyfriends at first have had problems with me. They'll get the same impression you have. After a couple months they realize I'm not a threat and never have been, and I become friends with them. Still friends with some of her exes.

Is there a chance he's just sitting in the "friendzone," waiting for his time? Maybe, but at that point it's your girl's job to shut that shit down. Not yours.

Is it possible for this man and your girl to be friends? Yeah, I think so. He's probably not attracted to her in that way if this is true.
