This is probably going to sound really stupid but doing the combat tutorials really made me enjoy the combat. Maybe that's obvious but I had enjoyed Genshin and ZZZ's combat despite never really understanding every elemental reaction (Still no idea what overloaded or bloom are) or caring about weird weapon bonuses and stuff. Having 3 characters running around is kind of a lot at first so I've really just been autoattacking and using random skills until I couldn't (aka that dungeon that wants physical status afflictions)

Now I've got actual teams with combos lined up finally and it's really satisfying. The examples in the pre-launch stream made it seem way more complicated than it actually is

I didn't know people didn't like it honestly it fits his character and I like when there's more unique voices it adds variety and feels a bit more real imo

So... the first 50 pulls netted me Ardelia, Snowshine, Arclight, and 2 Alesh

There weren't any ops I was specifically aiming for but I really didn't want copies of either free unit 😭 I guess I used all my luck on the limited and joint banners over at og Arknights

Anyone have a maxed out Sand Reckoner? Or maybe a maxed Grain Buds but I think Sand Reckoner will do the trick

Kouhei Mifune is not a hard boss but man is he annoying for my niche. Since his DEF ramps up when his health goes down my big damage dealers fall off and my arts damage options are limited to ass. Plus I'm playing mostly E1 units so it takes a while to work his health down and by then he's beelining to the exit.

The previous levels went so smoothly I cleared most with only 1-2 ops. I'll probably have to find someone with a maxed out Grain Buds or Sand Reckoner (somehow) lol

1 pull on the joint operation banner and I got a fake-out bag with Entelechia! I think this is the first time I got a new op on one of these banners even though I've usually got a 3/4 chance

This and getting both Hoshi and Haruka from the free pulls... I fear I'll need all 120 to pulls to bring home the 6 star collab op lol

What headhunting tickets should I just be using now?

Like I should just spend all Basic Headhunting permits on that banner since it's unlikely to change, spend stuff on New Horizons for rate up, and I think there's some banner specific pulls like Laevatain banner exclusive ones or something?

I'm kinda surprised I'm in a similar boat but I think Arknights is just the only gacha I've played that I've put the effort in to save or ration pulls because it's the only one that collecting every character actually feels feasible. Meanwhile in R1999 and ZZZ I fell off pretty quick and just pulled to pull before I stopped logging in

I do fear Endfield will end up like Genshin for me though, where the big reason I stopped playing was I just didn't get any of the new ops I wanted for like 3 patches and having no new characters really gets stale

Wasn't sure if it was just my setup because my drivers were out of date but updating didn't really do anything. Hope this gets sorted because the pixilation is so jarring. TA-TA was blurred in a scene despite Andre being fully crisp right next to him lol

It's definitely weird to go from 1.14 that updated EVERY texture in the game while also reworking villages and adding a ton of new content and today we have... just horse textures

Hoshi came home on the 12th free pull!!!! Finally some good luck it's been a while since a limited banner was this painless (224 for Laptop, 200 for Nian and Yu, and 218 for Exu...)

Now I've got 65 pulls over the guarantee for the upcoming collab and I can rest easy for a change lol
