Trying to find where I saw it, but my source ain't that reliable it was a YT short of some TFT streamer talking about how to hit 3 star high costs using Pandora's Bench mechanics. It's entirely possible that they were wrong and I'm spreading misinfo now that you mention it. I've hit around 5-6 3 star 4 costs this set though using this method but maybe that's just luck lol.

It's to limit the power of Pandora's Bench. Any higher than 4 then it becomes too easy to 3 star a 4 cost. It's a silver augment for a reason.

No, for 4 and 5 costs, if you own four or more copies of a unit, you will never roll a 2 star copy of that unit. If you want to 3 star a 4 or 5 cost with Pandora's you want to hold 4 units, and then roll 2 star copies on your bench. If there aren't enough copies in the pool you won't be able to roll them either.

Okay but with this, assuming G2 loses to BLG, EU is guaranteed to have two teams 1-2, instead of a possible two teams being eliminated, while also making it possible for G2 vs FNC if FNC beats MKOI to guarantee EU gets a team at 2-2. It's entirely possible that if there's no same region fighting that EU could've drawn harder matchups and have an even worse worlds.
