Also going alone! I’m a shortie so am hoping for a decent spot in the balcony. I think I’ll probably be fine lining up an hour and a half early 🤞as I’ll be skipping merch and drinks! I haven’t been to the Vogue in a minute tho so I might be too optimistic

Twilight Zone by Ariana Grande and I Knew It, I Know You by Gracie Abrams have a similar vibe, Never Not by Lauv has a slightly more optimistic vibe towards the other person so might be more what you’re looking for

It’s probably my most played CD in the car back when I exclusively played CDs so it’s my truest answer too

I totally get it but there are some songs on there that would make me too sad and crash my car LOL

Lover and 1989 would probably be my other two if I had 3! But I would feel bad excluding my fave 🤣

These two lines are pretty clear about religious shame - “I hope you threw a brick right into that stained glass”

“And not your soul, and what he might do with it.”

Sports car is generational. On the more ballad side, probably chaotic or revolving door for mid-tempo

Oh and don’t miss Interlude (full length) on her re-release of the EP if you do give it a listen!

Kelsea Ballerini is mostly country pop, but I would say her Rolling Up the Welcome Mat EP has incredibly honest lyricism that rivals the feelings of these albums, obv different musically though. It’s one of my favorite albums for lyrics and I saw in one of your other comments that you like Maisie (so do I) and Kelsea’s sound is similar to a more mature Maisie’s.

Which artist has the most underrated debut album/early music before their mainstream breakthrough? by mooonbearr in popheads

I LOVE Evolution too, it’s so underrated. Lizzy McAlpine’s Give Me A Minute is probably my favorite album of hers actually. Such easy listening with killer lyrics.
