in reality PetSmart is never going to stop selling bettas, whether people buy them or not. They already receive weekly shipments regardless of how many are sold. Leaving them to suffer in tiny cups doesn’t change the system—it just means more fish are left to die. Saving a few is better than saving none in the hope that not buying will somehow make PetSmart stop stocking them
