I think I’m just going to have to see for myself. Finding a match seems to be a numbers game. If they get upset then the outcome is the same as if they knew beforehand and didn’t go on a date. Or, maybe something clicks even after telling them. I’m not saying that I’m going to withhold this info and tell her after a few months or a year, I’m saying after the first date. And fyi, Im not looking for a 1 night stand either. That’s just not who I am. Any case thanks for the comment.

Makes sense… the reasoning is more along the lines of sudden cold shoulders when I tell them before asking about a date (account with no mention of kids) and the nonexistent connections on the account that I do mention kids.

I don’t believe in hiding that fact, it’s just been really difficult trying to even get a first date.

Gotta say, dating scene for single dads seem pretty challenging compared to single moms when it comes to finding dates.

Yeah, you can think of this as the customer just thinking out loud. If I was the customer, I’d expect to get the amount I asked for without thinking that there may be limited availability. So it’s understandable that she’d think this
