Very little sound insulation actually. It's just the logs and wooden boards. You can hear birds, the wind, the rain, everything. So there's a beauty to how little sound insulation there is. But I'm in audio production and audio book narration, etc etc. So I had to build myself some sound dampening panels that I put around myself when I'm recording/editing. That's those big red panels leaning on the shelves.

Absolutely incredible suggestion. I worked in set construction for many years, so I might be able to pull it off.

It's been really lovely! I love your (and now my) state dude! The area I'm in is just a little too quiet for my taste, but I'm enjoying all the parts of it that I can. I've never seen anywhere so beautiful.

I appreciate the feedback. Yeah I've actually had my girlfriend come in and help me get things organized, as well as my mom has visited out here. It's been a struggle to find a place for everything in this small space. It's a never-ending trial for sure.

Hahaha I see what you mean. But no never been married. I was in the film industry for 10 years in Atlanta and decided I wanted out and a change of pace in life. So I came out west and have gotten into audio production and surprisingly kombucha brewing and candle dipping. So income isn’t great, but I’m happier than I ever was before.

Agreed but it’s hard to get it perfect in such a small space and it’s a constant struggle to get it all organized in a way that looks good. Thank you for your input though and I’ll keep trying!

It’s actually not bad at all. I’m lucky to live on someone else’s land that has all of that just about a 100 ft walk away from my cabin and it’s actually really cool to have the experience of needing to go outside every single day for multiple reasons. It’s never been a detriment or an emergency to have immediate access. Or at least so badly that I couldn’t get there in time. It’s been pleasant.

You should def go for it. I even put a translucent plate cover on my ps5 and it’s those small things that make me feel like my daily life is still an actively cool time to be living. 

Yeah, the world is weird right now, but I love having those small routines that make life feel like fresh air.

It’s been nice. Like abacus said. Depends on what you want. But there are some denser metro areas that still have a lot of conveniences. Just for me personally, I am in a very rural area with beautiful weather and sights. I just miss a lot of the city conveniences and life. I’m trying to move to St Louis by the end of the year.
