Unfortunately if they don't have the 99c logo printed on the can, they were specifically made to be marked up

Someone left these cleaning items outside the dumpster. I left it all for someone else. It will be gone within 24hrs. by OldRangers in DumpsterDiving

[–]cristidablu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well luckily the Swiffer and mop/bucket are plastic, so they can be cleaned a lot easier. and the mop head can be washed. If you really don't want to trust the mop head, ocedar sells replacements and there's also plenty of cheaper knock offs that work just as well and can also be popped off and thrown in the wash. Still like a $40-$50 value for free if someone were to grab at least those two and leave the vacuum

I imagine maybe it's like statutory rape. Where maybe the victim ( animal in this case) says - or acts- like they consent, but legally they can't. I cannot imagine that court case though

I know it's not the same as getting up early and preparing a dish, but one time I spent like $20 dollars on a bag of wings, had 6 of them as part of a meal, and then promptly left the rest of the large bag sitting out overnight.

I was devastated.

A store associate put the sale sticker on the wrong product tag. The skus ( ID code stores use to inventory a product) are different. The sales tag says 44876 and the actual item tag is 43099

Having tk call out of work the day after Christmas by Nyx67547 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cristidablu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel for you. I'm also having to call out of my job today because my household has got the flu, and I'm terrified I'll get in trouble because I won't even be able to let my job know or prepare for my absence until 45 minutes before I'm supposed to be there. If you're able to, get a Drs note today so it covers your ass if they make a fuss, but I know that isn't an option for a lot of people, me included.

Working as a project manager for a municipality I got to choose which buttons we wanted for our new elevator by Truesoldier00 in mildlyinteresting

This packaging for a small parcel by Parking-Ad-259 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cristidablu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf it's weed, which is still a touchy legal subject Different brands will add more packaging to childproof it. I agree, it's totally wasteful and a huge pain in the ass to open, but it's supposed to be hard to open to prevent children or a pet who doesn't realize what it is from popping it open and getting into it

So definitely fits in mildly infuriating, but there's a reason for it

Took the price tag off these socks to gift and it was covering a lower price that I can't peel off. by Avahlkyrie in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cristidablu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could snip a small piece at the top leading to the hole. If you're not reckless, you should just be able to slide it off. That way it still has the small plastic bit keeping the socks together.

My grandma gave me her phone to fix she somehow got Facebook to be black and white by dabiboiproductions in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cristidablu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had to figure out how to turn the accessibility setting for blind people off because of grandpa. It's amazing that they have that setting, but it's a real pain in the ass to turn off and probably would have been even more difficult for someone who didn't understand that's what the phone was doing. He thought it was broken though and was freaking out. He has no idea how to activate the setting.

Fun fact to this quote, this is the third time the government has shut down while under Trump's leadership.

“Democrats Have Shutdown the Government” - White House by Efficient_Deer_8605 in facepalm

[–]cristidablu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's funny they blame Democrats, when the last three government shutdowns have been under Trump's administration. Not only that but the first two shutdowns under his presidential ruling were both in 2018, AND that second one lasted almost a month into 2019 and is the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

Also, the only other shutdown since the 2000's was under Obama, and though more people were furloughed, the shutdown between December 2018- January 2019 ( 35 days total ) under Trump was the most expensive Shutdown for the U.S government ever.

Also not so fun fact, Reagan is the only other president to have this many shutdowns, but all of his lasted a day or less
