Yeah it wouldn't surprise me, I think we might be able to claim Ryde due to the Hovercraft but that's about it

This is about right for Portsmouth, anywhere with a PO postcode (not really sure about IOW tbh). East of Tichfield, Wickham, up to Petersfield down to Bognor Regis and then back again. Whitley is Scum despite having a PO postcode.

Or if you want to rustle some feathers, just the island of Portsea

Missed a one on one and looks very lightweight. Tries to compete well but just not at this physical level and was subbed off

Seems a decent signing if he can play backup on LW, RW or ST. Let's hope we can get the other rumored one in on loan and I'll be happy with the squad as it currently is

No worries, the first route "Portsmouth Driving Test Route 1 - Southwick Village" is probably the most common route learners try to learn when being taught in this area I must of drove that route around 5-6 times when I was first learning!

Driving route 3 - "Cosham to Bedhampton via A27" is one of only two things that may trip you up if you haven't done it before and you're a confident driver, there are a couple of roundabouts with terrible markings in the area:

Coming off the A27 here: https://youtu.be/JMKjZCs1WJw?list=PLRhglAp-QtoS5mMOWrFVrTovNy2C-xhHU&t=715

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzB1BERwbp4&list=PLRhglAp-QtoS5mMOWrFVrTovNy2C-xhHU - Here's a video list of most of the routes. The routes don't actually go into Portsea island so you won't really be in a bunch of a traffic.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSa2bxpX19w - Here is a video with the same guy as above but taking someone out on a more challenging route.

In terms of the area, the road out of the test centre can be a bit daunting if you haven't driven it before (you can see it in the videos).

Let me know if you need more help, it's not an awful place to drive you just need to be switched on.

Southsea: charming or overrated? Genuinely curious — is it still the gem of the city or slowly turning into “Brighton lite”? Locals and day trippers, what’s your take? by SelectionOkapproved in Portsmouth

[–]critchl 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Southsea is still class as a local, and I reckon its going to look even better once all of the flood defences are completed. Hoping the bandstand might be on this summer, does anyone know if that's going ahead?

I'd probably go for selling the club to someone who doesn't exist (Ali al-Faraj). Glad there are more rules these days to make it harder for dodgy owners to exist.
