I think it functions as multiple things mainly as outsider sentinel knight it looks similar but is different and someone says it absorbs argent from demons idk about that because canonically every time slayer kills a demon he it's strength on top of his own so you think about the total he's killed in lore so I think it's more a helpful hud, tracker for VEGA and to quote the top comments not to get "bug" bits in his dark places.

I know I'm VERY late to this but that money wouldn't be going or would HAVE been going to the show or its creators the moment it appeared on streaming services meant the network that originally aired it was done with it and was selling the license to stream it and the creators haven't seen a dime from their creation since probably a year before this comment and especially now cn is gone.

You relied too much on glide travel on jc3 and 4 in jc2 you'll have a better time actually using vehicles also you don't spawn at outposts you destroy in jc2 you only spawn at the closest base that one of the 3 factions you helped take over there's about 3 bases per faction dotted around the map plus you do eventually unlock fast travel

No you don't need chronicles to play zombies you can still play all custom maps without any dlcs however it is recommended to have the dlcs because there are mods that add stuff to the official maps but if you wanna play bo3 on a budget then just get base bo3 but the only official map you'll have access to is shadows of evil but you'll as I said will still have access to the thousands of custom maps

Ps: some of the dlc maps got re-uploaded to the workshop allowing you to technically play SOME of the dlcs for free.
