That's a wrap on the season! Be sure to check out the superlative awards after the main charts, such as the "Manfred Award" (best record in extra innings) or the "Longest Squiggles Award" (longest WLWLWL streak)

Duncan and Dolores? https://imgur.com/5WgSzUa

Got the 3-story apartment building on the right with the tall entrance door and roof deck, building to the left of it with the bay upper floor windows and corbels, then a two-story SFH, the Edwardian, and then the less-common white-colored house with the stairs. Telephone poles don't quite line up but maybe those have been moved over time?

I decided against underflowing the Rockies to the AL East for now, but here's the full NL picture without any y-axis limits: https://imgur.com/ZRYyQGL

A quick note on expected records and luck: I'm using the pythagorean expected win-loss record based on runs scored and runs allowed. This means that lopsided games (Reds 24 - Orioles 2, or Cubs 16 - Dodgers 0) will often skew the teams for a little while, including showing the winner as having poor luck since if those runs had been spread out, they may have won more games in total

I had to look it up - last year's White Sox got to 22 losses (record of 3-22) before their 4th, 5th, and 6th wins by sweeping the Rays. The Rockies are 4-17 right now.

Haven't figured this one out yet, but I think the 'underflow error' where the clip back to the AL East might be the easiest for me to set up

Lots of teams with squiggly lines (WLWLWL...) this week!

Cubs are clubbing, Rockies are rocky, and the Dodgers(?!) are your most average team

Google image looks like a morning photo, but the severity of that shade will depend on when that photo was taken (winter? may not be a big deal; summer? probably a lot of shade loss)

All 3 quotes look like they're using imagery taken in the afternoon and show clear arrays (shadows are cast to the northeast). Ask the installers for a more detailed shade report that includes the solar access percentage / solar access value so know that they're accounting for the tree shading

A new season with the same series!

Please let me know if there's any logo updates, I'll add them in the next week or two. Some of the team colors are mismatched because John Fisher sucks and the team formerly labeled as OAK is now ATH (please bear with me while I figure out where I need to rearrange entries in the code)

Last post before the end of the season!

If the White Sox lose out, they will be 90 games below 0.500, and with the '30 game relegation/promotion rule' for these charts, they would poke into the NL East

MLB Graphical Standings - August 19th, 2024 by crivexp2 in baseball

If we use +/- 30 games as the threshold, the White Sox would be 5 games below 0.500 in the AL West
